Veterinary Technician & Assistant Internships
We welcome veterinary technician and assistant students from local and online programs for internships, externships, and required shadowing hours. Our goal is to support your education while helping you develop confidence and practical clinical skills in equine practice.

Interns work alongside our veterinarians and experienced support staff, gaining exposure to a wide range of cases and responsibilities. Depending on experience level and program requirements, opportunities may include horse handling, assisting with procedures, laboratory work, and patient care support.
We aim to provide hands-on learning whenever it is safe and appropriate. At the same time, we emphasize proper technique, situational awareness, and team communication—essential skills in equine veterinary medicine.

Scheduling is flexible and can often be coordinated to meet program requirements. We are happy to collaborate with your school to ensure documentation and expectations are met.
Because equine work involves inherent risk, all participation is guided by safety protocols and staff direction. This ensures a positive experience for students, patients, clients, and our team.
